It is an official government site so it can be a bit long. We recommend that you look through all “facts” that are available on the site and pay particular attention to the “scam” alerts.

Wikipedia – Credit History: This is a comprehensive explanation of your credit score and how your actions influence them. Again it is a bit long but we believe that it would provide for very good reading to further your understanding on how your credit score is modified.

AnnualCreditReport.com – This is the official site to help consumers obtain their free annual credit reports from the credit reporting agencies. We recommend using this portal instead of going straight to the credit reporting agencies directly.
